Stations of the cross project

This is a project I did with my CCD class.  I used flat bottom marble looking items, I glued pictures of the different stations of the cross on each marble.  I bought these marble items in the dollar tree.  These marbles magnify the photo you glue on the back of them.  Make sure you use modge podge for gluing it dries clear.  The shape of the black background I made with a large fly swatter I bought from the dollar tree. I used the top of the fly swatter as a template for a piece of foam board.  I used the foam board that was black on one side and white on the other side.  Under every marble that was glued on is the story of each picture.   I glued a cross on top which is made out of Popsicle sticks cut down to the size I needed.  All the way on the bottom I made a rectangle shape out of 4 Popsicle sticks together cut down to size.   One of the rows I used to glue the rectangle onto the bottom of the foam board from behind it.  I used a decorative piece of wood for the sign stations of the cross. I also added some little decorative purple pieces on top.  There is also a little prayer I added on top.
