How to Create a Custom Decorative Awning Header for Your Dollhouse

 In the picture below you can see a decorative strip of wood and dominos in the second picture. I glue down the wood around the top of the edges of the landing. I painted the white circles on the domino pieces that I used with black paint, then I glue them down in front of the decorative wood as you can see in the pictures below. I paint the wood black before gluing it down so it all matches the color I need.

In the picture below I also use two chess pieces which you can see in the picture. I also made a decorative piece that looks like a door. I wanted to cover the window and make it look unique.
