How to make a minature laptop for your dollhouse (EASY)

First I went to the dollar store and bought some packages of lip gloss as you can see in the next 2 pictures

This is the packages that I purchased.  Remember they were $1.00 for 2 in a package great price!

When you open up the lip gloss case this is what it looks like on the inside.  Well what you need to do is get out all the lip gloss in the case.  Also wash the case with dish detergent to get off the slimy gloss.

After you wash it out this is what it looks like.  Next is to paint it.

I use spray paint to paint them, I chose blue for one and red for another.

When you spray paint them make sure it is the exterior area of the laptop not the inside.  You can see the paint into the interior of the case.

Next I had some stickers that I'm using for the screen savers in the laptops.  You can use any stickers as long as you cut them down to size to fit the screen.

Next I cut a piece of foam material to fit the keyboard area of the case and glued it down into the laptop.  Then you go on the computer and download a picture of a laptop keyboard, make sure you shrink it down to the size you need.  Then glue it onto the foam. The next picture will show the finished project.

This looks great in a dollhouse, even your doll needs computer time.  Another thing you can do is paint a computer name on the top of your laptop.  I hope this is something that you can enjoy making and is easy and fun.
