How to make solar light looking lights for your dollhouse

These are the items you will need for this project.  Strands of decorative plastic items, I bought mine from the dollar store around the holidays.  You also need wood skewers, they have to be able to fit into the beads you will be using.  Also Popsicle sticks.  Last of all wooden beads, these will be the solar light.

This is a close up of the decorative strand.  You will be using the larger looking decorative pieces on the strand.  You will need to cut the larger looking pieces, so you can use them.

First I cut little squares from the Popsicle sticks as you can see on the top left.  You can also see the decorative pieces from the strand.  Cut as many as you need for the amount of solar lights you will be making.  On the bottom is the wooden skewer that I cut up into lengths that I want the stem of the solar light.

First take the bead and glue your wooden skewer piece that you cut to size.  Then glue one of the decorative pieces from the strand in the top hole in the bead.  You will glue the wooden stick onto a wooden Popsicle stick square that you cut.

These are what they look like around your dollhouse.  They get glued down.
