Making a kitchen counter from cardboard

This is the piece of cardboard I used.

I cut off a piece of cardboard and added sides to the cardboard.

I bought this little dish from the dollar store, I cut a hole in the cardboard to fit the dish.

I then painted it black

I added some rubberized white mat around the one side and also on the front of the sink area.

This is the back.

I glued down the dish inside the hole.  I added some Popsicle sticks.  I used a bead for the knob.  I also added a piece off a shower curtain holder.
