A thurible made out of a water cap, chess pawn piece

This is what I started off with. The bottom is a wooden circle, then I put on a top to a water bottle.

I then used a foam ball which I added some rubber mat material.  I cut a piece of the rubberized mat and glue it around the ball.

I then glued the ball on top of the water cap.  

I then took a plastic pawn piece from a cheap chess game I bought at the dollar store.  I cut the circle off the top of the pawn and pushed one of the beads in the top and put a dab of glue to hold it in place.

I then painted it gold. This is the item that a priest waves around in church that has incense in it.
